Ferran és un retrat audiovisual confeccionat amb la superposició de diversos plànols fixos gravats durant la realització de diferents accions: la de fer emergir un cos enterrat en un munt de terra, arrossegar-se per les vores d’una sèquia, o tombar-se en els marges d’un hort.
Cadascuna d’aquestes accions descriuen algun episodi biogràfic del performer, i la superposició d’unes seqüències damunt d’altres sembla augmentar la seva fisicisidad, convertint-les en una sort de pell resultant de la seua pròpia experiència vital transportada a la pantalla.
S’han aplicat efectes expressius de postproducció, com la càmera ràpida en alguns moments del moviment del performer per accentuar la gestualitat, o el moviment revers per fer que l’acció torne al seu estat inicial, emfatitzant la similitud entre l’inici i el final de la seqüència com si es tractés d’un retorn a l’origen de tota acció.

Ferran is a filmic portrait made with overlayed shots recorded during the performance of several actions: a buried body emerging from a mound of earth, dragging itself along the edges of an irrigation ditch, or lying down on the edges of an orchard.
Each one of these actions describe some biographical episode of the performer, and the overlayed display of camera shots increase their physicality and become a kind of skin, as a result of their own life experience.
Some expressive post-production effects have been applied, such as the fast camera at some moments of the performer’s movement in order to accentuate the gestures, or the reverse movement to make the action return to its initial state, which emphasizes the similarity between the beginning and the end of the movement sequence.
